Bush is on TV tonight…fuck!

June 28, 2005 By: MechMed Category: Can't be categorized

He’s back…Annoying us with his hot air. I see the strings being controlled by Cheney and Rumsfeld. He does a great job of repeating what Karl Rove shoved into that empty head of his…where the ball bearing used to be.

This guy does nothing for me. As I watch bits of it on TV, I see a sphincter moving with a tounge. And the audience is of course hand picked as backers, they’re all soldiers! You think these guys are going to question what he says? He’s their fucking boss, they are programmed to do whatever any superior tells them to do.

This fucking was is becoming a joke. I hear more about civilians and soldiers dying than I do these so-called “insurgents”. If our military is so fucking good, they ought to be able to stop this bullshit, get the job done and get the fuck out of there. But no, we have to keep oil prices high so Bush’s buddies line their pockets, we have keep sending equipment from Halliburton and their subsidiaries so Cheney’s buddies can line their pockets. It’s ridiculous how this government does what ever the fuck they want, AND WE LET THEM!!!!

Now I’m pissed!

Sandy writes words for a physician to live by

June 27, 2005 By: Mark Category: Can't be categorized

Sandy’s nearing the end of her first year of a three year Family Medicine residency and is having a bit of a tough time. I hung a white board in the living room for any notes or scribbles or whatever. Well one day she gets creative writing some motivational stuff for herself and as I sat her while she’s on call through the night, I’d thought I’d post it.

Being a physician is a privilege and nothing less.
Never be late… Do not call in… Always be there…
My patients are expecting me and yes, they need me.
I am their Doctor.
I’m a professional and must conduct myself as such.
I must earn the respect of my patients and colleagues.
I must be humble.

Please God, help me be a fine Doctor; lifetime of passion for medicine & helping people.
Help me to be a loving and understanding Mom and a faithful, loving woman for my best friend and lover on this earth.

Geesh I’m getting old

I was poking around Wikipedia and saw a section on deaths. Links there take you to people who have recently passed away. Mostly famous people. I saw Eddie Albert died May 26th at age 99. He played Oliver Wendell Douglas, the guy that, as a lawyer, moved with his wife to the country to farm. I loved that show when I was a kid.
I also saw that Howard Morris died May 21st. He played in a bunch of Mel Brookes movies and always played these loopy characters. He was funny too.

Gee everyone is dying…..
