My poor camera
I’ve had my Olympus OM2 since they came out on the market in I think 1978. Over the last few years, I noticed it wasn’t working properly and recently, due to the new online film processing plaxes and such, I thought I’d like to get it repaired. I wanted a place locally instead of mailing the camera all over the country and found Midwest Camera Repair in Wyandotte, Michigan. It’s a nice place and what I thought nice repair facility might be. Well after 2 weeks with them they called to regretfully tell me that some of the metering parts are not available and they would not be able to fix it. Bummer…..
I went and picked it up yesterday, no charge, and will look into getting it repaired somewhere else or trade it for a refurbished.
My poor camera….sad
