“Back to You” TV show rips off This American Life
I watched a recorded episode of “Back to You”, the new show starring Kelsey Grammar and Patricia Heaton. I think this show was orginally aired in November of 2007.
It’s pretty much a rip-off of a story I heard on the NPR show This American Life.
The story was called ’Squirrel Cop’ and was about a cop’s first day on the job and how
they got a call about a squirrel in an attic.
I guess the TV writers are looking for any kind of story ideas and look to other shows.
I love This American Life how the host, Ira Glass, brings them to life. They are funny and honest.
