I found these pictures of Detroit’s Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick kind of funny. Currently he’s embroiled in a text messaging scandal with one of his female staff.

I took a few extra days off to get away from work. Went to the Detroit Cityfest on Thursday, and the Toledo Zoo on Friday.
We also went to see fireworks Friday night.
The Cityfest was pretty cool, got some nice photos there. Got to see some strange people, skateboard/blading demos, music, food, old buildings in Detroit. Kinda fun.
Toldeo Zoo was nice too, I’ve never been there. They seem to have more, fancier places to eat than the Detroit Zoo. Toledo seemed to have less animals than Detroit also.
